The weather was iffy, and we didn't want to travel the hundred plus extra miles to get totality (IF the sky cooperated!),
so at best we expected 88% coverage of the sun. And a lot of clouds!
We got some good pics, AND we got some flashing in! It was kinda cold though, so we didn't get too crazy.
But there was a full moon for a bit over the valley behind me!
Finally the clouds ended the show in the sky just before the max coverage of the sun,
and we retired to a little cafe for warm drinks and to see what the camera on the tripod had caught!
