down 17 pounds and feeling a bit better

Postby alaya sc3 » Wed Jul 15, 2020 8:06 pm

with all the craziness and stress going on in the world
my weight ballooned up big time and my blood work came back so terrible.

I decided since I cannot control anything else besides what I put in my body
I needed to make better choices and it has been slow and study but it is working

I started two months ago and I am thrilled with the 17 pounds off and feel a bit better
I am staying away from sugar and soda, and only eating carbs with dinner or lunch.

I have about 20 more to go to be at a healthy BMI but I need to do it.

who else is struggling with me?

Alaya-

You have NOTHING to worry about with how your body looks... I am truely sorry that you were having issues with your blood tests... but I have to say please don't ever judge yourself on the number on the scale... and that goes for everyone else reading this! Beauty may be seen on the outside, but it comes from within, and although we haven't talked as much as I would like, we have talked enough for me to know that you are a VERY INCREDIBLY beautiful person. I'm glad that you are taking control of your life and doing something to make yourself healthier.

I've had issues with eating too much junkfood in the past, and at one point I had to throw out a lot... I don't like waisting food like that but it was needed. I try to force myself to snack on healthy things. I've been doing a lot of walking and have met more of my neighbors lately than I ever did before. Definately taking advantage of working from home!

Well I hope everyone out there is staying safe!

PLEASE wear masks... and don't do anything stupid!

Congrats! That's amazing!

I myself have been on a journey. I am down about 35 pounds so far. (Lot more to go). It has been difficult since gyms have closed - I was in such a good routine of getting a workout in or at least staying physically active at the beginning of summer. Than the heat of August hit and I haven't been able to get outside as much as I would like.

So eating healthier options right now is definitely key to not gaining when I can't be as physically active as I would like and yes drinking lots of water!

I keep on making goals and then missing them. Really need to stick to it. I have started to work out again but now I'm so soar. It will get better and I will get stronger. Thank you for the inspiration

You should all record some of your workouts and post videos of them.
