Life Reminder

I have a few great loyal fans who have been with me for almost a decade now. They have grown with me in ways even my own family hasn't. It hasn't always been easy, there have been times that I wanted to walk away but I couldn't. This all is so much a part of my life that life just doesn't seem like life when I take a break. I've had 6 surgeries along the way, soon to be 7. :-( I've been at the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. But I always know that I have a friend who will listen when I rant on Twitter or who will email me a thoughtful line. Heading into the busy holiday season, just remember that every single girl here has a slice of life that you probably never get to see. A lot of us work full time, a lot of us have children, we go through equipment malfunctions and health issues and the death of a parent. Kindness can be the greatest gift you give. So if one of your favorite charms doesn't email you back right away, doesn't immediately get to your request, falls off the radar for a few weeks, just remind yourself that you never know what someone is going through. A little understanding goes a long way. I am so thankful that I get to share my life with you and I am looking forward to the next 10 years. :YMHUG:

Hear hear! We are blessed that you all squeeze time for us into your busy life. I think it is common courtesy for those of us peeking in to be mindful and respectful that you aren't just images (fantastic images I might add!) or words on a web page. I like to think SC fans are more respectful in this way, although I am not in any position to back up this hypothesis with actual numbers

I've been lurking around SC for 15+ years now. I regret not finding this forum before last year because it gives a chance to connect with Charms and learn more about them. I really love to find out about you all - the remarkable women behind the undeniably gorgeous and tantalizing exteriors. Did you know Wendy looks fantastic as a panda, for example? Something I have learned since landing here ;)

I'm always up for a chat or PM about anything at all. Take care :YMHUG:

Ashylyn,
That's such a great post! And so true. I've been a charm since 2004 and I can totally relate to everything you've said. Being a charm is part of my life and I can't imagine not having that part in my life. Everytime I go someplace, I always think, "OMG that will make some great pictures".....
I sometimes worry since I'm getting older that guys will wonder what an old grandma like me is doing on a porn site. It's the messages, and emails and the posts here that I get from guys that boost my confidence and assure me that I'm not embarrassing myself by continuing to post my content. And that they definitely don't look at me as being an old grandma.
Longevity as a charm definitely includes the entire picture of a charm's life.
As Sultry Serena, I've never taken a break from my site. Throughout health problems, major surgery, life conflicts and the death of my mother (recently). My site is something I do for me...…..that may sound selfish. But the fact is I love what I'm doing and I simply can't imagine NOT doing it. I'm 58...…...and crossing my fingers that in another ten years, when I'm 68, guys will still be complimenting me enough so that I don't worry that I'm embarrassing myself :d

You can add me to that list! Your appeal is timeless and you are a wonderful person to know. :YMHUG:

What she said. I couldn't have said it any better. It is so true. I left and had to come back. And my fans found me from before. I have made some great friends because of this.

Ashlyn your Charm sisters are here for you and are cheering you on through whatever you are dealing with and applaud your bravery and tenacity. I am sorry to hear you've had to have 6 operations with number 7 coming. Thank you for sharing and let us know how you are doing and if there's anything we can do to help you.

I am amazed how selfless and perceptive Ashlyn is in her post. She touched on something that affects all of us. Each holiday season we look back at our year and it's such a mixed bag of blessings and losses. We celebrate the joy and share in the heart breaking losses, Charm family and members alike. There is no better place to be.

I'm a new Charm but agree 100% with this statement. I hope your surgery goes well and your back to 100% soon.

You look fantastic, Serena! Sorry about the loss of your mother, I just lost my stepdad in October. It's not something you can ever be ready for. But we all push through I guess and always get back to what we love. :)

Thanks so much, Alex! The guys here might not see it (you show it in other ways I am sure) but you are always so helpful to every single charm seeking advice behind the scenes. You are a gem and SC is lucky to have you!

Ashlyn

I read your post and was truly moved..you captured so beautifully and dead-on what it's like to experience life as a REAL woman with highs and lows, pain and pleasure and the rewards with being here on SC and developing some really strong relationships and friendships with our fans and FRIENDS. Thank you! :YMHUG:

And i'm an admirer not only of your beautiful self and site (I think you are SOOO hot and would love to play!) but to your obvious fortitude with what you've gone through with you health issues

All the best to you and your family in the New Year...

XO...FM :X

Thank you for this!! Sometimes life does get crazy, things come up, sometimes heart-breaking things. It is nice to have people to talk to, and personally- you can say anything you want. I mean, they've seen you naked already-what do you have to lose?! But really,I have some regulars that have been around since I started on here, they are a good reason why I came back after I took my site down. They wrote emails to ask if I was ever coming back. It felt good to be valued enough to be missed.
When it comes to the site, it takes time to make and edit photos...getting the privacy to make videos is another issue. And mood. I dont think that anyone would get horny seeing pics that I took when I wasn't feeling good. (unless thats a fetish lol) Sometimes you need to redirect your focus and do one thing at a time- the fun stuff goes on the back burner.
But when you come back- Watch out world!! Someone is here to PARTY lol <3
I wish you a good March. :YMHUG:

And here we go again. I busted my ass on my site for a few months even through my December surgery. I was taking a little break and planned on starting up again like last week, I have not posted in forever and I feel awful about it! But this fits this topic perfectly. I had a heart attack on Saturday! :-( I am still in shock about it - I am 44yo! So scary! Doing ok but this is not one of those things I can work around too much. I need to rest. :/

Young lady the last thing on your mind should be a worry about posting...I commented on another post you made....Lovely lady, it is serious, but it isn't a death sentence. Remember there is only one you...take care of yourself first and foremost. You cant care for others, if you aren't around. Take things one day at a time...especially early...in your recovery Everything will seemingly overwhelm you at first. Every pang, or pain will scare you for a while. I am living proof that you can live a good life. I was taken into the OR, when the aorta tore with a 30% chance of coming out alive...I did... Have faith, that is key, be it God, a spirit, or even life itself...A positive attitude is important. If I can ever do anything, answer any question...feel free to ask....
