It's SOOOOOOO HOT!

My husband and I mowed and weed whacked? (if that's what it's called) our back yard two days ago. It's been 109 degrees here for awhile now and OMG it's just so HOT! We went out and did it early to try and get it done before the real heat of the day. But I think the lawn mowing Gods were against us.

He has a small rider mower, and we have a push mower to do the smaller areas. I usually do the weed wacking, and the push mower, he does the rider and the edging.

So I did the weed wacking, and went to do the mowing and the friggin mower started, then stopped. Out of gas. So I tell my husband, he fills it and I get it started again, but it keeps stopping. OMG it's kicking my ass pulling that cord to keep starting it. And it's hot already! Long story short, my husband thinks it sucked some crap into the fuel line when I ran it dry. But we finally got it going and I was able to mow the small areas. In the meantime, now the rider won't start. Dead battery!!!!

WTF!!!!

He puts a quick charge on it and we finish everything else in the back yard, but the rider he has to mow that lawn twice because it was so long, and he wants it picked up and bagged. Anyways, we did get it done.

But the front yard is still a mess. We have a corner lot and a big front yard. That's really why he has the rider mower. I told him I just don't have it in me to do the front yard right now. So yesterday he went over to the neighbors landscaper mowers who were doing their yard and asked if they wanted more work

They're supposed to be coming today to mow and edge my front yard.
I think we'll keep them on every two weeks for front yard only. I prefer doing my backyard, I like my privacy and I'm out there alot

I absolutely LOVE summertime.........................but I think I'm starting to look forward to warm toasty blanket weather.

It's Sunday.
Seems like this week has just flown by. Not just the week, the summer, the year!! We were just making our new years resolutions and now it's almost fall!

When I was a kid, I always wished time away. Looking forward to my next birthday, or Christmas, or Summer vacation, or ......something.
Now that I'm older, I just want things to slow down. Especially TIME. I just don't understand how it goes so fast, when it used to go so slow.

I can remember when I started as a charm. The FIRST time as "Velvet Gal". That was in Feb of 2004. I think I had my site for a couple of months. But I got sick and was hospitalized for awhile. There was no way I could continue with my site and I was sick about 6 months. Had a couple of minor surgeries.

WARNING: GROSS OUT INFO .................... I had a tube hanging out of my face. YEP, I did!!! I had a clogged tear duct in my left eye, and then I got bronchitis. Long story short, I had a kick ass infection and it was risking not only my eye sight, but my LIFE! It was getting close to my brain stem. So I had to be hospitalized for awhile with IV antibiotics and they did surgery to clear it. Trust me, EVEN THE LAST MAN ON EARTH WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN UNZIPPING TO JERK OFF TO ME at that time

But I healed and came back in December of 2004 as Sultry Serena. A couple of guys recognized me. Even as Sultry Serena I was still shy! For quite awhile too! I mean SC was my first time EVER of taking off my clothes for anyone other than my husband or my doctor And in all these years, I have only taken off my clothes for my husband, my doctor and YOU!

Anyways, today my husband and I are going out to lunch. I got a box of new slut clothes in yesterday and I can't wait to remind myself what all I ordered. So when we get back from lunch, I'll look through that stuff later and model it for my husband

OMG yesterday was hectic!!

I had splurged and ordered this really cool, really HUGE animatronic. It went out of stock the first time it was online, and I was vigilant and kept checking until it came back and I snapped one up! Yayyyyy me!!! Right???

NOPE..........because then I started having second thoughts. This thing was really cool, but it was 9' tall and had a wingspan of 12.5'! And unfortunately I live in the Dallas area where it's OFTEN breezey/windy. I could just see this thing taking flight.........lol So I tried to cancel my order. It wasn't supposed to be delivered til Sept 8, so I thought for sure I would be able to cancel it the day after I ordered it.............

NOPE.........it had already shipped!! WHAT????? Since when did companies become so efficient??? I mean it's post COVID and we're all used to the excuses that there's a labor shortage, and a merchandise shortage and etc etc etc.........

So.............I had to let the thing be delivered. I really would rather have cancelled it because It's HUGE and there's no way the box would fit in my car to take it back to the store and return it. GEEZE..........what a pain!!!

It's only 109 degrees here lately, not like I'm gonna be hot and sweaty or anything (hmmmm..........maybe that's a fetish???? )

So the guy delivers this big ol box and after my husband and I manhandle it on a dolly and get it in our living room, we drive down to the hardware place and rent their truck, come back to our house.... and load up this big demon animatronic with wings.........and take it back to the store.

Did I mention it's HOT here??? I would have much rather been in my pool. But I'm standing in line, fanning myself like the post menopausal sexpot I am And wishing that I had never ordered this thing in the first place. I was actually wondering why I thought something this huge would be a good idea? And for the life of me, I have no idea. Although the customer service person told me I was making a big mistake because she had seen the animatronic in person and it was the coolest one of the season..........ugggggg

Well, kudos to her. HOWEVER, let's get real. I'm 62 next month, and I just don't see myself hauling this thing out to my yard on Halloween. Or hauling it back into my garage afterwards. I think they have a name for the large animatronics now........GIGATRONICS.

My husband and I decided those giants are just not for us. Hopefully we can still get peoples' attention without ever using them.

I will have a projector going on my second story window playing some spooky halloween stuff this year, I think I'll start playing it a few nights before Halloween to get attention to my house.

In the meantime, I'm trying to stay cool and not faint at my huge electric bill these HOT TEXAS summer months. OMG my last one was over $500!!! But that's another rant

Getting ready to go out in the pool for awhile. The water is like bathwater! For real!! But that's Texas for ya!

Trying to figure out what to make for dinner. We had In n' Out yesterday. DELICIOUS! When I moved to Texas from California 20 years ago, I really missed In n' Out and Del Taco. For years they didn't have any here in Texas. But In n' Out finally built some restaurants here, and so did Del Taco. In n' Out made it, Del Taco didn't. I mean this is Texas and it's hard to beat Texas TexMex. I think it was about 15 years ago when I last went back to California. Driving through for some work business my husband had. And of course, we had In n' Out while we were there

You know, I realized something the other day. California was my home. From birth to 18 years, then for a few years after that. But then I realized that I've lived in Texas now a little longer than I ever lived in California. I moved to Texas in 2002. I would say I'm a "Texan", however.........I still root for the 49ers

I never thought I'd live in Texas. I came from a small town in the Mojave Desert in California. And when I first came here OMG it was a culture shock for sure! So many grocery stores and McDonalds everywhere (we had to drive 30 miles for the nearest grocery store or fast food restaurant)

Now I'm spoiled. I live near Dallas. A BIG change from my hometown for sure! And although I do miss California at times, I think I really am a Texan now

OMG, I'll take a hum drum day anytime after these last few days! Saturday, I woke up to pain in my ass! For real! My left ass cheek, my left thigh, my left calf, my left foot, my left lower back.........Burning, TERRIBLE pain that didn't allow me to SIT! Nope, no sitting. I could lay, but if I sat, it felt like I was sitting on a fire! The burning down my thigh and leg was HORRIBLE!
And it didn't get better.

The day went on, the pain got worse.

Same thing on Sunday, but way way worse. I tried to go to urgent care, but they all had waiting lists over an hour and I couldn't sit at all! And I sure wasn't going to lay on the floor in the waiting room, rolling around in agony. So I stayed home and did that.

Monday morning I got into see my Doc. She diagnosed me with siatica pain. I do have some arthritis in my lower back, so apparently that aggrivated my siatic nerve. Guys this is really painful

I got a steroid shot in my ass at the docs office. She also temporarily numbed my ass muscle I've got steroid pills for a few days and muscle relaxers and pain pills. Not taking those, I'm just taking tylenol. Narcotics make me queezy

Anyways, the heating pad has become my best friend. I haven't been able to sit up until this evening. But WOW I have a headache, probably from the steroids.

WAIT.......I have a porn site, I'm not supposed to say "I have a headache"...........

But I think I'm on the mend, cuz things are feeling better this evening.

I'm on the mend

I'm able to sit for awhile at a time, as long as I sit with a heating pad. But it's a BIG improvement and I'm so happy!!
Things are going back to normal and I'll be strutting around in my yellow 6" platforms (especially for you Heels) in a few days!

Today I went out in my pool again. I usually use it daily, but the past few days, I go out and hook my arms on a pool noodle and just float around, letting the water take the pressure off my spine. It was a little cloudy and breezy and I'm a wuss.......... I get cold easy. I like it triple digit heat, no shade and 94 degree water (Good thing I live in Texas)

It was cooler than that today. Water was 92 degrees, it was cloudy, breezy and 95 degrees. Brrrrrrr. So when I got out of the pool I didn't want to lay in my lawn chair in my very wet bathing suit and drip off. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..........

I took off my wet bathing suit and laid out for awhile......... nude
My husband enjoyed it and I wasn't cold with the wet clothes off
Honestly it was a win win win.........For me, for my husband, AND for my nosey neighbors

I spent yesterday and today making decorating changes in my master bedroom. My husband is such a good sport, he took me around to a few home type stores to pick out what I wanted. (My back is still giving me problems, but truly ALOT less than before)

I changed out the wall art to stuff more modern, .........even though I really love a more eclectic style..........I had a picture in my mind of what I wanted our room to look like. I feel like I've always had a talent for decorating a house. And OMG I love how our bedroom came out!

New wall art, and new "knick knacks" on the shelving unit. Oh and two new table lamps for our nightstands. I'll shoot in in soon and show you

AND, OMG I'm so excited to say that I'm almost done with my husbands' train layout. For a year now, I've been working on this GIANT 12' x 10' HO scale railroad layout which includes mountains, snow skiiers, a lake, campers, a BIG FOOT, a new housing construction area, a trailer with junk around it, logging ' company, a city with a drive in theater, motels, bike park, a building on fire, cops arresting a guy, a wedding taking place, fishermen, kite flying, amusement park, ZOMBIES, a neighborhood, a lady flashing her tits at the train.........and so much more (I wish I had a spaceship for it - I may look for one before I finish it) My husband wasn't too thrilled about the zombies They are hoarding down the middle of the road

So anyway, I have a trailer to put in place with CRIME SCENE Forensic Cops that go with it and then I'm done! I finished the farm and crops today. I'm gonna be happy to be done with it. FINALLY! It really turned out pretty cool! Now it'll be onto the next project.

I need to organize my photo albums I have like 10 years of digital photos that I took on my phone. I really would love to have alot of those printed and put in photo albums. So I'm thinking that's my next project.

Strange thing..........I keep finding a wasp, the nasty ass red mean mohogany wasps, in my upstairs craft room window. Every day for the last couple of days, there's been a wasp in there. In the INSIDE window. My husband takes care of them, but I can't figure out where they are coming from. Geeze, I hope there's not some kind of hole by the window that they are coming in from outside. BLECKKKKKKK! I hate bugs, especially flying ones.........

Two weeks and I still have siatica pain

I think you'd laugh if you saw me. I carry a heating pad around my house, and when I BRAVE sitting down, I make sure I plug that sucker in! Sitting in the car is horrible! OMG it's been two weeks now. I broke down and made an appointment with an orthopedic doc. Cuz this crap SUCKS!!!

The thing about siatic nerve pain is that being ACTIVE helps! Sitting sucks! Walking, FUCKING ..........yep active helps. Can I say that my husband is feeling pretty worn out these days?

I haven't finished the train yet. Almost. It should be done this week for sure. I've been spending alot of time out in my pool. The sun feels so good and just floating around is definitely relaxing. I guess I'm trying to squeeze alot more pool time in before it gets too cold to use it. BUT, when it gets cold enough, I can use the spa

You know I was thinking today (my husband always says when I say that, "that explains the smoke") Anyways, I was thinking that this year is just flying by! Ridiculously fast!

When I'm sitting here typing this, I can't help wonder WHY anyone would read my posts. I mean I'm just a housewife. A mom, a grandmom. I don't see myself as anything special, and the fact that you guys compliment me, and get off on my pics and videos just amazes me! Thank you Diggy. I don't think I'll ever forget that cat. I felt so awful taking her back to the shelter. I tried to do something positive and I feel like I made it worse for the cat.
Yes, my animals are definitely loved, and spoiled They're part of my family for sure.
