My Great Grandmother was full Cherokee, My Great Grandfather was Chickasaw. My Father and My Sister are darker skinned. My brother and I take after my Mom with the fair skin.

I've worn glasses since I was in 4th grade. Tried contacts, HATED them. I rarely wear my glasses in my updates.

I wore braces from 6-8th grade.

I had a bad water skiing accident when I was a teen that left a big dent in my shinbone, that's still visible now

The first time I rode a 10 speed bike, I squeezed the front brakes and flipped over the handlebars......have the scar on my elbow to prove it too!

I was Honor Roll all through school. A true Goody Two Shoes who never got into any trouble and all the teachers liked <if they only knew the real me >

Let's see...

-I've been skydiving and loved it!
-I'm really adventurous and love extreme sports and the outdoors
-I was homeless from the age of 12-15
-I'm an orphan
-I attended 12 different schools throughout my K-12 education
-I have a cat named Bellatrix
-Obviously.... I love Harry Potter
-Writing a Pulitzer Prize winning novel is on my bucket list
-The high school I graduated from only had 11 students
-I lived in a cabin for 4 months with no running water and very weak solar power. It was amazing
-I'm Mexican but you'd never guess it!

I'm sure there is plenty more interesting stuff about me, but I have a hard time thinking about myself for too long!

Another one:

I got stitches in my bottom lip when I was 4 years old. I was wearing pink fuzzy slippers, and my mom told me "cartoons are on" and I ran to the tv across tile floor and you guessed it, SLIPPED and split my lip open on the tv stand. The stitches were purple, as that was my favorite color at the time. AND to this day I absolutely HATE any type of cartoons or animated shows! I was the only kid around who didn't watch cartoons! I can handle Sponge Bob, and used to kind of sort of watch Beavis and Butthead, but that's about it.........

At age 2 was hit on the head by another little kid with a hammer, had double concussion and fractured scull.
At age 9 had tonsils out and having a blood clotting disorder my throat was packed and tubes to breath to stop bleeding.
ended up being there 8 days.
When I was 10 I was hit by a car and was in the hospital a month. Pretty messed up.'
When I was 11 was bite by a dog on the side of face, lucky scar is along jaw bone.
When I was 12 cut knee open on a metal pool seat and knee cap popped out, can see that scar.
When I was 14 cracked my knee cap.
I was on the swim team in High School
Won 1st place in NYC Merchandising contest on creating window displays.
Got the highest mark on my bookkeeping regent 100.
Grad. High School at age 16.
I bowled in many Bowling Leagues High game 279, high series 724
Married at 21 to an abusive drunk. Got out of that 6 years later.
Married the second time at age 28 and hubby was 23 and now we are married 38 years.
I do many home improvements, tile work, wallpaper, paint, fix plumbing, pour and float concrete,
mow and edge lawn, change oil in my car and other things I am a real Tom Boy.
I had my daughter at age 34, in labor 47 hours and packed in ice blankets for 2 days.
My hubby was diagnoised with Lou Gehrigs Disease almost 6 years ago, doctor said he had 5 years so he is beating the odds.
At age 60 I had corodit artery surgery, thats the scar down right side of neck.
At age 61 I had what is called a tyroid storm, when all my organs went wacky because of hypertyroidism. I lost 32 pounds in like 2 weeks.
was in hospital a week to get everything working ok.
At age 65 had 3 heart attacks all in 6 weeks time. Last one left perm. damage to lower left. thats was July 2011. I have one stent.
Still can do most things I have always done, I have one restriction no more shoveling snow and slow down some.
I am going to be a grandma in a couple months.
I became a charm at age 55.
I am on my 6th. camera and 4th video camera.
In Oct it will 13 years I am a charm and still love it.
There is alot more, but this is enough for now.

I go camping and fishing. Hubby and I raise boar goats. I always have the tv on. I love it as a background noise. I collect chihuahua figurines. I grew up in a Pentecostal home! No pants, no hair cuts, no elbows shown, no tv! I turned 16 and my parents said it was my choice! I cut off all my hair and wore jeans!
