Question....

What exactly is the rules on what you can and cannot post on this forum?

I have gone thru the FAQ section but it provides no info.

I think this is one of the reasons why there is barely any activity on this forum because people have had threads and posts deleted with no definitive reason given and have blew off the forum.

I know people who are longtime paying subscribers to various SC models and they have told me they have had issues with this forum.

One general compliant I have gotten from people I know is that this is suppose to be a porn forum but that it is managed like a family friendly Rated G forum.

My suggestion is when new registers come onboard, before they fill out the registration page, they are directed to a “Forum Rules” section giving them clear instructions on what is allowed and not allowed and what the theme of the forum is about.

That page should also be accessible after completing the registration so people can review it in the future if they have doubts before they post.

Blackbull,
I've been on this forum since the beginning. I post to let any and all know that I'm here if they have any questions. Very few have questions, so I have to ask you, since you seem to be the one "in the know"......what "issues" are people having with this forum?

Quite honestly, it's pretty unbelievable that you would get "general complaints" from people about this forum. Why??? You're not an admin or moderator, your not charm...….please let me understand why people would go to you and not to the charms or admin with issues? Apparently this is an issue that needs to be addressed. ;)

As to the rules? They are clearly posted in the welcome thread, which is accessible to "guests" before registration. Additionally, they are quite simple....
The SC Fan Box is here for the mutual enjoyment of the SC Charms and Gents and their FANS. We want to take this opportunity to welcome all SC fans and wish them an enjoyable visit to the SC Fan Box. We have also added a mini-chat feature to the board to allow you to chat directly with any of the Charms and Gents who are online during the time of your visit.

Since the SC Fan Box is here for the enjoyment of the fans, Charms and Gents, I would like it to be known that spam will not be allowed on the SC Fan Box by members. Only SC ventures are to be promoted on the Fan Box - after all it is our Box. All members posting links for affiliate sites as well as any site not ran by SC will have their posts deleted and they will be banned from the SC Fan Box. This includes placing links to outside sites in your signature blocks. Spam is the major issue that we hear about from our true fans - THEREFORE: there will be zero tolerance for guests, newly registered or full members spamming or advertising non-SC web sites.

With all that said, and all sarcasm set aside, I know you're true complaint is the fact that images get deleted from posts. And full posts may be deleted IF they contain images.
To be clear...….. All images are COPYRIGHT protected.
Copyright theft is a big annoyance to all models. SO the fact that this is the charm's playground, why would we tolerate the copyright theft here in our own backyard?

On the SC site, I'll quote the rules and copy/paste them here:
and that you will not copy or redistribute any of the content appearing on this SITE. SITE reserves the right to terminate this license at any time if you breach or violate any provision of this Agreement, in which case you will be obligated to immediately destroy any information or materials you have downloaded, printed or otherwise copied from this SITE. Violators of this limited license may be prosecuted to the fullest extent under the applicable law.

You ask what can be posted?
Posters can link to a charm's page. Posting small thumb pics is acceptable as long as the charms' don't complain and AS long as it's a free style photo.
WORDS can be posted as long as they are not mean and unkind.

With all charms having the capability to delete posts, it's impossible to know why posts are deleted, or even who deleted them. But I promise you that nobody is going around deleting posts just for shits n' grins.

One general compliant I have gotten from people I know is that this is suppose to be a porn forum but that it is managed like a family friendly Rated G forum.

Explain this please. Family friendly rated G??? With all the tits, ass and pussy posted here? Are you kidding? This forum is managed in a friendly, fun and open for suggestions way. It's managed by keeping respect to the copyright holders of all images and videos. It's managed to stay within the copyright laws, and it's managed in a way that charms and fans can feel comfortable here. It's managed NOT to take the place of the porn site of Southern Charms and NOT to be a miniature porn site, but to be an additional way for guys and models to meet up for chatting, discussing, etc, in an online place.

There's a suggestion thread here, everyone is welcome to use it.
But let's remember, that this forum is not a porn site. It's a discussion board. And discussions aren't moderated. Only images.
This isn't rocket science Blackbull. We don't need a ton of rules, we just need some understanding of the copyright issues.

What i posted should answer your questions.

People are not coming to me, I have long time internet associates that i have established a internet friendship with. They are not coming at me thinking I'am a admin or Mod for this forum.

The folks I know who are paying members, I have asked them why they are not active on the forum and the reasons I posted is mainly why. I'm not gonna get into all the details because some things are trivial and some people do just like to complain. My statement of "G-Rated" was me trying to consolidate the comments from people without being offensive. This forum an SC is well known thru-out the internet, and it has a sour reputation is the best and polite way that I would put it.

I know about posting charm images and you explained that to me earlier and I understand that.

I wanted to know what we as basic members can and cannot post.? I saw in that thread I made this post in people were reporting spam. I did not see those posts so it had me ask a question to myself what is spam on this forum?

For instance if I post a GIF of balloons and people clapping in a thread to make the post more of a eye catcher or prove a point, is that allowed? I have had posts like that deleted recently.

I'm a longtime member of a number of established porn forums on the internet. I have not posted anything close to what I post on other forums on here. Anybody who knows me from other forums know I can flood this board with craziness. I ain't here to create drama. This is the internet, I don't take it serious and I'am on here for fun.

The question of getting more activity has come up a number of times on here and with what some folks have told me, and what i see is being deleted, I'm understanding why...to a degree.

I'll recheck that Welcome thread, maybe I missed something.

Blackbull,
The spam isn't from you or any active members.

We get hit by spammers daily, but the registration process has been changed so that every registrant has to be approved now, instead of automatic approval. Which has helped tremendously.

Some still slip by me, even though I try and search out their email addys, and Ip's, etc for past posted spam complaints.
So the fact that you don't see the spam is because I stay on top of it.

This board is important to me and I do my best to keep it a fun and safe place for everyone who wishes to post, lurk, or chat.

As to images that are deleted, I can't speak for everything. I can only reiterate that if something is posted that is copyright protected, then it may be deleted.
And honestly, any image that you don't photograph yourself, is in fact, copyright protected. So if you posted a balloon with people clapping, and they were real people, then that image violates copyright law. If you posted a gif with cartoon people? That image could be copyright protected, or it could be free for non commercial use.

SC actively prosecutes copyright thieves.
As such, it would be irresponsible for any charm to allow copyright infringement on this forum.

This forum an SC is well known thru-out the internet, and it has a sour reputation is the best and polite way that I would put it.

I'd rather hear details, even if it's not polite.
To state something without details or facts, and to make such a broad derogatory statement, is unfair.

Enlighten me?

Hi Sultry and BlackBull,

Copyright laws apply to everything on the Internet in some form. It is not a rule SC made up Blackbull, you can look up the DMCA and see it's been in effect for a very long time.

Basically you are legally allowed to post anything you take yourself. I saw some of what you had posted, Blackbull. You had clips of celebrities clapping at award shows uploaded. Anything bearing a likeness of a person that you did not take yourself is a violation of some one's copyrights.

Maybe your other forums you post in have nothing to lose in a lawsuit and that is why they allow you free reign to upload there? SC prosecutes for copyright violations of the model's work, so we can't endorse the unauthorized use of someone else's likeness here.

Seems to me that everyone else who posts here is having a nice time. You also are not privy to the folks having the private chats which is another source of fun. Why would anyone think our forum is "sour?" I'm curious. I don't see any free-to-the-public forums on other model type web sites, and most do not even make the model's e mail available. So what could be wrong with giving the public an opportunity to interact with the girls?

With regards to your "G Rated" comment, a lot of other forums are pretty much rips of models' work provided in illegal uploads by the forum users in categories, rather than anything they shot themselves, and the users talk about the girls with other users. They aren't talking with the models themselves.

No we are not having cyber sex here (except in the private convo) and not giving hard core away here on the board, but that was never the purpose of the forum. The purpose is to allow the models and viewers to interact.

It would be great if the members you mentioned would share here on the board with a post what they shared with you. We'd like knowing their issues. We enjoy pleasing folks here and getting to know them!

I've got to throw in my 2 cents here... I love the forum... I love being able to interact with Charms, some of the most awesome ladies on the planet!!! I enjoy hearing what other fans are doing and enjoy as well, you may learn something you don't already know about, or similar to that.

As for posting content, laws asside, I think it's not cool in general... I don't let people put photos of me on the internet without at least asking me... and that's just G rated... it goes back to respecting people's privacy and treating people the way I'd like to be treated. If your not going to do that, then please move on.
C
As for Serena, and all the other charms that are active on here, thank you so much for all you do! The ONLY reason SC is a great site and one that I keep coming back to over the years is because of all the work you put in. I do appreciate it!

I get all the copywrite of SC material on the forum, like I said earlier on the forum you explained it to me.

I'm not going into details on what happens off this forum.

Like I said earlier, I'm a long time veteran of a number of forums and I have access to sites nobody on here has no clue exist.

Reading your replies and others responses shows me you guys are way behind the game. I'm not going to go into detail because I will need to go on Microsoft Word and type out a 100+ page report and email in PDF and all it will do is bring up more questions. I ain't got the time or the patience for all that.

Like I said, earlier, my question has been answered and as far as I'am concerned the discussion is closed.

You know what it shows me?
That you frequent places that rip charms sites and see nothing wrong with that.

If you don't wish to post further, that's fine. But this discussion is open to anyone who's interested. Especially if it will help enlighten others of the problem with illegal site rips, and the illegal sharing and posting of copyright content.

Um... No. Literally all you have to do is post it here, where you were asked. You were given a listening ear for the changes you'd like to see here, but all you seem to want to do is post empty complaints. We aren't perfect, but don't accuse us of not trying to hear you out. Serena has been more than accomodating... look you have a whole thread devoted to you!

Your main grievance is obviously that you don't like not being able to post photos of your favorite Charm, and I'm sure the other forums you frequent have stolen content galore. We don't do that here. That's been addressed. If you've got other grievances, why be vague?

I'm one of the Charms that has posted here trying to spark engagement. I've posted spread shots, titty pics, tantalizing stories, video clips, and all manner of things far from G rated. But I'll say this, if what you are looking for in a forum is a bunch of FREE PORN for you to collect, that's not what this is place is for. WE SELL that stuff.

What you CAN get here is FREE personal one-on-one engagement with ACTUAL models from our site, and that is not something easy to find on the internet. I'll add that this is the ONLY place I talk with fans for free. Everywhere else my price starts at $2/min, and I know I'm not the only girl here with that practice.

I agree well said and spoken Lacey one... Worthy of several Sheldon Bazinga's…..

I believe I know of the kind of sites Blackbull speaks of. I have dealt with them. In 2001, the love of my life died suddenly and I rushed to Maine from NH. I lost out laptop in those frantic hours somewhere in that hospital. It had some personal photos of us, mainly of she. Suddenly friends who visited some genric porn sites were telling me about seeing photos. Even today she is posted on countless sites. Since the photos were not copy written, I had and have little I could do. Some sites in the early days took them down, others ignored requests. Today one can go on countless sites, and see her, she is a German or French housewife, or an American coed. Name a country and someone has most likely posted her photos and claimed her to be from Latvia, Italy, Denmark you name it, and to have taken the photos. I don't understand why someone would want the SC forum to turn into something like that. I hope and pray it never does. Fans and subscribers see to forget that paying to see photos or videos doesn't give us ownership of them, we are not buying them, we are paying for the opportunity to view them.

Thank you DDDVIOAUS and Martinae, we are happy to hear you enjoy the forum and support the models.

I was so sorry to hear about your loss DDDVIOAUS, my heart goes out to you.

By the way, YOU own the copyrights to every single image you take. The law is behind you. Just because your pictures were not on a web site doesn't mean they are not copyright protected. The PHOTOGRAPHER owns the copyrights unless he grants it to the model. Every picture is copyright protected to someone.

Sent you a PM with some suggestions to get your pictures removed.
