Yes, we are closed for President's Day and we are and will continue to close for all US federal holidays. There are 10 federal holidays a year. They are the same ones that banks, all government agencies, and most other industries observe.

This year we are closed for a total of 12 days which would normally be working days. We are taking two days each for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day which is a common practice. We publish updates 248 days out of every year. Our staff works hard to publish updates throughout the year and are entitled to holidays just like everyone else.

Here is our holiday list for 2012:

    Jan 2 - New Year's Day Observance
Jan 16 - Monday - Martin Luther King Birthday Observance
Feb 20 - Monday - Presidents Day Observance
May 28 - Monday - Memorial Day Observance
Jul 2 - Monday - Independence Day Observance (July 4th)
Sep 3 - Monday - Labor Day Observance
    Nov 22-23 - Thursday & Friday - Thanksgiving Observance
    Dec 24-25 - Monday & Tuesday - Christmas Observance
    Dec 31-Jan 1, 2013 - New Year's Day

Are you interested in hiring a photographer specializing
in underwater photograpy?

I would require an annual salary of 100,000 per year out of which I would cover my own medical insurance and 401k (no contibutions necessary). And perdiem while in your emply of 300 dollars a day.
not including portal to portal and return portal transport fees.
Which will be billed as a surcharge.

The 300 dollar perdiem should cover the rental car, lodging and meals.
On a daily basis.
While in the intermediate portal.

Done deal?
