The Southern Charms Fan Box

I have seen a decline in the numbers. Been a fan of this site since 2000, joined hundreds of girls' sites, even paid for some of there used clothing items. I remember the first time I discovered this site I thought I was in porn heaven. Before I was married I bookmarked this site and everyday I logged on this was the first place I went, man it seems like it took forever to just download one page back in the days of dial up. Like what has been discussed before there are some things that float your boat and some that don't, alot of one hand typing back in the day. Yes, I mentioned I'm married now and yes my wife knows I look at this site. Usually when her cycle is coming up she let's me know I'll be spending alot of time on Southern Charms. Man have I seen them come and go and sometimes come back and go again. What I like about the site is that it is so easy, no BS, here's what you get.... and if you don't like it move on, no logins, registrations or even advertisements. After awhile if you like what you see join, simple and easy. Since I have been a fan Friday has always been the biggest update of the week, Thursday being the least with Monday being a close second. I know it's been tough with other means of income (including other websites) and social media but I have to ask?

Not too long ago Southern Charms was averaging 350 updates on a Friday, last week 167.....WHY?
Why are these numbers so inflated? For example 200 updates on Friday, today showing yesterdays total (Friday) 167.
I have seen women on here have her first three updates then do nothing for months at a time and take up dead space...WHY?
Some women haven't updated the free side in over a year if not more, why would I want to join that?

I can only answer part.......the numbers aren't "inflated" but the charms don't get to be on the updated today AND the updated yesterday lists. SO, On the 200 updates it showed on Friday and then 167 updates for "yesterday" being the Friday, that means 33 charms updated BOTH days, so their updates don't count in those.

By the way, THANK YOU for being such a great SC fan! I can't speak for all charms, but personally, I enjoy my site on SC simply because of fans like you. Doesn't matter if you've ever joined my site or not, YOU and guys like you, are the reason I get so much pleasure in doing updates for my site. Just knowing that you are looking and having fun and enjoying yourself

Thanks for the response. Like I said I don't join too many sites these days but the ease of just looking and fantasizing about is what keeps bringing me back. If we all had a girlfriend or wife that would do what we all wanted/needed this would not be possible. I think it's great you feel comfortable enough to make a better future for yourself to let us in on your personal life. I thank you for that!!!! Girls I'll keep looking!!

Like Serena said - if a charm has pics two days in a row, she only gets on the "updated today" page. So if 200 charms update on Monday and then 50 of those charms update on Tuesday, "updated yesterday" will only have 150 on Tuesday.

It is really up to the charm as to when she wants to update. Maybe last week, people were busier. Who knows, really. Sometimes things happen in a charms life and she doesn't update as much. I still think 167 new updates is quite a bit ... gives you lots to choose between!

And the charms who only have three updates. They won't be shown in "updated today", "updated yesterday", or "update preview". So, if that's where you're looking, you probably won't run into them. I personally would prefer to join a charms site if she updates regularly. So make sure you're looking at those who update regularly. There are lots of charms who only have a few updates. Just don't visit their pages :p and you won't have to worry about it! To be honest, I think there are a TON of charms who update regularly. No one is trying to convince you to join a charms site if she hasn't updated in a while. lol. But, like I said, there are a lot of charms. If you stick with the "updated today" and "updated yesterday", then you should be finding mostly charms who update relatively often

No one can really answer as to why some girls only do their first three sets and then leave. It's their lives, and they choose to stop updating for their own reasons. Reasons we can never really know. But a lot of us update a lot! (I personally update three times a week!) Try to bookmark your favorite girls and see if they update enough for you. And remember, becoming a member means you get to see ALL of their sets, not just the preview of the latest free. If you find a girl (or a couple of girls) who have many updates you are getting a LOT of pictures (and sometimes videos!), so maybe you'll worry less about those sad girls who never update again. <3<3

It is really nice to hear from a gentleman who has been a fan for so long. As the ladies above have stated there aren't any easy answers as to why girls start a site and then just let it sit. I started seven years ago with three updates a month and I'm now down to two a month, because of time contraints. I think some girls find it takes more time than they expected or maybe they were expecting really big bucks right off the start. It takes time to build a following, but there are still plenty of great Charms to choose from and new girls do stay around. Southern Charms does try and weed out inactive sites, but that too takes time and sometimes our staff just can't always find the time. Keeping up with 800 Charms isn't easy.
