I am an avid cooker and baker every night. I love hello fresh as it helps cut down on my grocery time
but I truly love to cook after a long stressful day. Creating something from nothing is such a wonderful feeling.
who else loves to cook and bake?

I do what I can... although for me, I like to go into my basement and work on something. I will admit doing something you enjoy because you want to is a great stress reliever. And I'm doing the blue apron thing... I really like it as I get to try things I normally wouldn't buy!

I love baking and it's still cold/rainy outside so turning on the oven also keeps my warm in the kitchen too.

I can cook...….without recipes and instruction. For some reason it just comes natural to me. A pinch here a tbsp. there...….everything comes out great.
BUT, I can't bake......cookies, cakes...…..apparently you MUST follow recipes for those...…..a pinch here, a tbsp. there doesn't work at all
Do I like cooking? I guess I'm neutral on it. I don't hate it, but it's not something I would say I enjoy doing. It's just something that I've always done.

Love to cook, but it is more food experimentation than culinary excellence. Love making sauces, and am told my barbecue sauce never tastes the same way twice. Have a friend that owns Bison ranch in Montana and a gator farm in the South. I cant bake a lick, but I get Amish friends to make Shoofly Pie, pies and cakes. I send him some twice a year and he sends me bison and gator meat. Love making White Chili with the gator meat( has the same flavor and texture as chicken), and the bison is great for regular chili. I love to cook when I am sad or something is bothering me. Also make a pretty good vegetable soup( I use okra), and a mean Zucchini Soup. I have several friends that ask to me make solutions for their Thanksgiving turkeys. The one everyone loves is Applejack, a fermented mess of Strongbow cider, regular cider, mince, bourbon and liquified raisins and assorted spices. Even with all that, I would love to bake even just a simple Angels Food cake without it becoming hard as a rock, sticking to the pan, or catching fire in the over.....

I consider myself super lucky. My guy loves to cook and he is great at it. I love coming home from my real job to a house that smells like an amazing dinner.

Oh, You sound so much like me. A pinch here a tbsp. there. And even when baking and getting odd results, well, I tell them that I tried.
What I enjoy best is gardening -- where I escape to clear my mind. Now more than ever!!

I love cooking but long story short, my husband grew up an only child and his mom never cooked so he actually doesn't like me to cook.lol

It's nice to be able to cook for the whole family. Always on the go it's hard to do.
