I cannot believe how different and fabulous my Iphone 11 is. Totally love it and the quality but so
hard to get used too.

does anyone have any tricks they use theirs for? like taking photos by yourself? or videos?

just getting used to figuring it out and uploading to the computer

I am so not tech savvy

I'm totally opposite. Love IOS, Totally baffled by Androids. Never had one of those, only Iphones, but my Grandma has an Android, and I'm no help teaching her how to use it.

I remember when I switched from android to apple that was an adjustment.

With the camera they do have a timer - on mine when I open the camera up at the top of my screen the 3 rd icon kind of looks like a clock/timer/stopwatch type icon if you click on that you have the option to set the timer to 3 seconds or 10 seconds.

The video function does allow you to edit the video down built in but if you are uploading them to your computer probably easier to use whatever software you normally would use to edit videos.

I really do like and have used the timer function though with pictures on my iphone.

I could not live without my iPhone and had tried an Android once for two months and could not use it. There has been a timer on the iphones for a while and it is a great function allowing me to do my own pics many, many times. There are also filters that can change the atmosphere of your pic either when you take it or afterwards, a great way to turn a hot pic into a stunning black and white photo.

This is one of those things that bring strong feelings. I was gifted an I-Phone several years ago, and inside a month was frustrated enough, I gave it to the daughter of the woman that (birthday) gifted it to me. I just could not get used to the I-OS system and stayed with Android. She would often ask me to do something with her phone, and I was like a monkey banging away at a typewriter. Any devoted user of either system will not change for anything. If you use an I-Phone or Android it is like driving on the right side of the road, and forced to try the other is like driving on the left side of the road. I worked for the DDOC and worked all over the world. I still once in a while have that dream where I wake up from driving on the wrong side of the road. That is what the I-Phone was like for me.
