Finally ... it rains

IN Europe we have suffered from a very dry period, it's getting worse every year, but last night it finally started to rain ...
I never would have taught that I would have loved rain ....

yeah but our leaders tell us its the wrong sort of rain

saying that my village in Norfolk was built by the Saxons and has never flooded, we had a flash flood down the main road yesterday and the stream in the valley thats normally a foot deep turned into a 30 foot wide river with someones recycling bins floating down it, it looked like that bit off the Hobbit with the Dwarves in barrels.
