I hope so...
The "purist" fans here in the UK were horrified. There's a well known website (and magazine) in the UK which is respected by the teams who have quoted numerous drivers relaying that it was toe-curling.

Personally, if I was about to drive a multi-million dollar car at 300+ Km/H with a steering wheel full of instruments and gadgets,
I would want to sit somewhere quite and still, and get mentally prepared!

Oh... did you catch the prices for food at Miami?

      I saw where the northern Italy race was canceled because of horrific flooding. The news people are using words like "Apocalyptic".

            I saw where Brad Pitt and Damson Idris were in costume filming at Silverstone during the race, they even had their own garage!

              I have had a chance to carefully think it over, and I think Brad Pitt would make a better prop than a car for a shoot.
