2 Truths and a Lie! Wanna Play?

If it doesn't feel comfortable any place else, try slipping it in here.

As a grease monkey, I wont if you had long hair then? Too long to hide under a cap, but down the back inside a pair of coveralls doable.
As a long time traveler, I am trying to guess how those four spots are connected with your bucket wishes.
I can see you mistaking the leader singer of Crazy Town for a fan.

So I am thinking one and three are true. The reason I think two isn't. I wouldn't know why anyone would want to visit Alaska. I live up in the White Mountains of NH, for two years, fire patrol in the spring and summer. Then holed up on the winter as part of a rescue team for skiers, snow mobiles etc.. Saw blizzards, temps under 30 below and snow lightening. So I am counting on yourself not liking cold weather......

You are correct! I did not have long hair then, though. If you check WAY back in the archives on my members section you'll see that I had short hair when I started on SC way back in 2006, and I kept it short all the way up to 2010 (around update 400) when I let it start growing out.

As a child I was fascinated with four places on the globe that I told myself I would one day visit: Alaska, Hawaii, Italy and Australia. I wound up living in Hawaii for almost 10 years, and vacationing in Alaska for two weeks all before becoming an adult... but I still haven't made Italy or Australia happen... I will, though ;) BTW, Alaska is BEAUTIFUL in the Summer. The most vibrant green mountains I have ever seen, capped with pristine white snow at the top. Also, some of the best fishing in the world, and more nature sightseeing than one could hope for! I saw bears, moose, rams, otters, puffins, eagles... It was an amazing experience!

And yes, I met the lead singer of Crazy Town at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas many years ago. I had heavily advertised on social media that I would be attending and a lot of fans had contacted me saying they hoped to see me there. So I was walking around the convention center and this cute guy walked past me and we locked eyes... he looked *kinda* familiar, but I wasn't sure. I thought that maybe he was one of the guys that had messaged me on social media. The second time he walked past me he was for sure checking me out and I was thinking, 'he looks so familiar, this MUST be one of my fans from Xpeeps' (defunct adult social media site). The THIRD time he walked past me and we locked eyes I stopped him and said "hey, do I know you?" and he said his name "Shifty" (which TOTALLY sounds like a screenname and not a real name). So I was like "from Xpeeps?" and he was like, "No, I'm Shifty... from Crazy Town." Now you have to realize that I was in PORN mode, expecting to meet PORN people, not people from 90s bands, and so I was puzzled and it must have showed on my face, because he then got visibly offended, waved me off and said something to the affect of "aaahhhh, nevermind" then walked off in a funk! Ooops! Sorry Shifty...

Does sound like Shifty was a bit "Mifty", at his lack of recognition from you. The famous can be that way. Back in the early 90's a friend won backstage won 4 backstage passes, to a Beachboys concert. Backstage, my friends wife who grew up a country fan, but knew of John Stamos,( think back to the song "Kokomo"), mentioned in front of that band, that she thought it was great, that John Stamos's band was getting out and touring. I wish I could have been there to see their expression.

You certainly must have been the most adorable "grease monkey" back in the day. What am I saying, you still would be....Have you thought of, doing an updated, in coveralls?

I should not have short changed Alaska, it is indeed a beautiful state. Have never been there, but lived for a while amongst the White Mountains of NH, and Green of Vermont. Puffins are so adorable, spent a lot of time near Bar Harbor, Maine, and the Bay of Fundy. I hope Italy and Australia are on your bucket list. They are polar opposites, but both contain things you will never see anywhere else.

I will post three statements...

1> I have written poems aand stories, and started two novels, but would quit today, if God gave me the ability to master any musical instrament.

2> I believe I have seen ghosts, and been spoken to and or touched by at least six.

3> I lost a chance at a $500.00 cash prize, on a callin to a radio show, when I couldnt remember the names of Santa's reindeer.

Fun Game - Let's see if I can stump anyone.

1. I was a high school cheerleader
2. I have had over 20 Opossums in my car at one time.
3. I once rode a horse 3 miles in a thunderstorm

Yours is tough - 3 sounds believable to me, so I think it's a toss-up between 1 and 2. I believe in ghosts so...I'm going to say one is a lie and you CAN play a musical instrument and probably very well.

Thank you for playing....A quick answer of mine, One is false, I was a failed trumpet player in 5th grade, but did learn a few years ago to play a banjo just well enough to be not too terrible at a few songs. I do believe I have seen, hear, and felt the presence of ghosts. I did almost fail the reindeer quiz. I named all the deer but called Donner, by his correct name Donder, which is Dutch and in English means Thunder. The DJ thought I was wrong, but the station manager who was listening, corrected him...and I won.

As for your three.....Well I close my eyes, and I can see you rocking a cheerleader uni in HS, and driving all the boys mad. Still you have the wild look of a majorette, or flag girl in the band...so......I can believe riding three miles in a summer thunderstorm, that suddenly popped up. I am going to have to say....20 Opossums is a lot, for any size car, so I will say that one is false.....Maybe a momma Opossum and some babies, but 19 babies? Yes I will go with 1, and 3 being true and 20 Opossums being either totally false, or the number was smaller....
