I must admit, I haven't, but I've thought about it, but just seems like a spoof on Star Trek. I'm confused about it!!!

Love it! It really captures that Star Trek feeling-especially the next generation.

Absolutely love The Orville, first series as great, really good characters and all not so serious. It is superb.

When this came out I was watching Discovery as well and there was no contest about which was more watchable.

However Disco Ep1 S2 was better than the entire first series

We really enjoy this show. I think we like all space-type shows. SG1, the whole series, used to be a favorite of ours too.

Orville is in a way a masterpiece of genius from Seth MacFarlane. The characters are fresh and interesting. The plot lines are usually well thought out for a "comedy", though there was one, you could see who the villains were right away, and the outcome predictable. The dialogue at times seems like it was written by teenagers, but overall it is a great show. I love Bortus, and the shows that focused on himself. My favorite scene when he was in the holodeck and created a sensual scenario with others of his species. Darulio might just have been my favorite person on the show, the blue alien that slept with Commander Greyson in the first show. Will miss Lt. Alra Katan though....

Yeah, I don't know why Alra left the show but she was a great character.

Agree. Not many words can describe how much I hate Discovery.
