I'm getting my holiday updates ready and seeing my curvy legs in fishnet made me think of my favorite Christmas movie featuring a certain alluring lamp... can you guess which one? It's A Christmas Story! I've always loved that movie. It's packed with so many memorable quotes and hilarious moments!
I also love all the Rankin Bass claymation movies for nostalgic reasons, and the Home Alone movies (1 and 2, NOT 3!).

Definitely all of the Rankin Bass stuff, who can forget the Heat Miser and his song. I'll go with a Christmas Story, just to good of a movie. In fact, the house where they shot the outside scenes is not that far from me, maybe 25 minutes away. Cool place to visit. Yes, I have the actual full size lamp in my office year round. Merry Christmas all!

Love all the Animated stuff from the 60's and early 70's. In JR. High we did a Christmas Concert and some of the songs were from 'Santa Clause is Coming to Town". I got to sing the part of the Winter Warlock on "Put one foot in front of the other". Of course Heat Miser is my favorite all time from the sequel.
As for movies....the original Miracle on 34th Street...saw it at age 10 and made me believe in Santa all over again.
I think Scrooged is my favorite. Something about Bill Murray playing that role. Plus I've always had a crush on Karen Allen from her "Raiders of the Lost Ark "days.
I love A Christmas Story as well, and seem more fond off it as I get older. Remembering back to my past Yule Tides......

Our local theater just did Miracle on 34th Street, Foxy, and it was amazing!
I have to say that my all-time favorite is Rudolph, though. I watch it each and every year
when it comes on, and love it just as much each time!
Merry Christmas!!!
Hugs,
Amber

Oh Elf for sure! And Christmas Vacation.
My favorite more recent Christmas movie though is Four Christmases with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn. It is so funny. Or maybe I just like Vince Vaughn a tad too much.

It doesn’t feel like the holidays until I watch White Christmas.

These are all great movies! I actually just started watching the Die Hard series. So many people think they aren't Christmas movies but I disagree!
Has anyone seen the new Christmas movie "Noelle" on Disney+? It's super cute. The baby reindeer is my favorite!

Oh, and there's another one, quite favorite to me and way more romantic, even if not so popular.
The Holiday with Cameron Diaz and Jude Law; Kate Winslet and Jack Black.

I'm a sucker for any version of A Christmas Carol. What a great story! I've never seen Trading Places but I'll try to catch it next year on your recommendation

I LOVED The Holiday! It was so good! Sad it didn't get as much recognition as others.

Guys, you're speaking to my heart, here! I LOVED the Heat Miser. He was the best character out of all of those Rankin Bass animations. Also, the Winter Warlock's "Put one foot in front of the other" was such a great song! Unforgettable!
