Hey friends,
Not sure who else is in Florida or close but it’s time to
Start thinking about this dreaded time of the season especially
With the weather already hitting 90 degrees.
Bring on the bottled water and supplies.
Who else is stocking up?

Climate is indeed changing a lot ... where I live it was very rare to have severe storms or tornado's .... now it happens every year !

My grandmother, a lifelong South Florida resident, taught me this old poem when I was a child and it still sticks with me. I think of it every year:
"June too soon.
July stand by.
August look out you must.
September remember.
October all over."
Where I am in the state we don't often get direct hits, but you can never be certain so we always brace for the worst and hope for the best.
