Just curious. I am currently getting totally into this show thanks to Me-TV which is a digital sub-channel that is available free in my area. BTW, I love that channel overall, but this show particularly is really doing it for me. Some may know that there was a series of 6 films in the 1930s that were very cool but the 50's/60's show is the one most of us are aware of. My fave is Paul Drake. I'd love to be him!

LOL I didn't watch them when they were originally aired. That would have been difficult unless you believe in reincarnation.
They are on NOW on Me-TV.
Sorry, I'm a retro addict. just curious if anyone else is.

I don't dislike it. I'm really weird about what I watch though.. I don't spend a lot of time watching TV and when I do I like to watch silly cartoon things.

I don't blame you for not watching a lot of TV. Lately I've become an addict, I can't explain it! LOL I think it has partly to do with where I live now as opposed to where I used to live.
What kind of cartoons do you like? I'm retro there too in my tastes. natch.

I like the older Disney stuff, adult cartoons, and some anime. Mostly anything I can have on in the background while I'm sewing, cleaning, etc without having to pay a lot of attention but still getting the point.

I have enjoyed the Perry Mason books, but I didn't enjoy the TV show or the Movies. At least the ones I have seen. But then I generally prefer my mysteries in book form over movie format.

The books are very good, I agree. Always love a good mystery!
The movies are fun, but pretty far removed from the books, as is the show, which had to be stripped of things due to censorship at the time. The earliest seasons are best, however, when the character seems racier and skirts the law more frequently.

Wow, I would never have guessed that! You sure don't look it!
And I agree with you about Paul Drake! If I was a lady, I'd be hot for him!

I agree! If I was a girl, I'd be all gushy for Paul Drake! He was a man's man! So cool in those loud jackets, he just screamed jazz niteclub late at nite, smooth talker, and he had a cool job too, private detective, and usually for the hottest lawyer in town! What more can you ask?
