New content, new lights!

I've just upgraded some of my photography equipment and I'm super excited to see what I come up with! I'll be shooting new content and some custom orders today and tomorrow so I'll get a chance to play around with the new stuff... I got a new lens, a ring light that attaches to the lens, and what I'm really excited about is some awesome LED panels that do full RGB color! EEEK! I'm giddy with the possibilities!

Be on the lookout for brand new stuff, maybe a little artsy, but always HOT HOT HOT starting in mid-March!

FUN!!! I love getting new equipment. I have been on the lookout for a new video camera. Any recommendations?
I had one of my panels lights short out last month so I had to get some new lights to replace it and I love them.

We're still learning the new lens,... it's specifically for low light situations, but it doesn't have a lot of range, so you have to be kinda far from the subject and the picture still shows pretty close up. It's different from what we're used to, but we'll figure it out.

The ring light that attaches to the lens has a bit of a learning curve to it as well, and takes the place of our flash, which we usually have a light sphere diffuser on. The ring light works best for close ups and produces really crisp images. I love the way the ring makes my eyes pop, but I felt a little blind after the shoot tbh.

The light kit is AMAZING. The set came with three lightweight LED panels. They're all fully customizable as far as brightness and color, and came with a nice carry case, they can work plugged in OR on batteries, and they can be controlled by an app on a phone. We had a lot of fun playing with them in color and LOVE the way the images turned out!

I got to do some more playing around with my colored light panels at my shoot this past week. It's fun to flex some creativity and "play" with the art we make sometimes. Here's a taste of what's coming up later this month on my site:

I like playing around with colored lights but I can get intimidated by them sometimes. I like them better in smaller spaces or if I can reflect it off a wall.

Thanks! We haven't tried them in tight spaces yet (we usually take a lot of space to set up our shoot) but our sexy Charm sister Naughty Kitty posted a set with colored lights in a shower a while back and I was so inspired! I'll be trying out that out soon. If they turn out HALF as sexy as hers did I'll be over the moon!
