Question: Thanksgiving dinner, traditional turkey or ham? Anyone favor the non-traditional route? I love to bake, so the sweets are most important to me!! So I'm open to any ideas as far as the meal itself!

I've got 9 or 10 family members coming over, so I'm cooking ALOT

Turkey Smoked on Traeger Grill
1/4 Bone in Ham
Mashed Potatoes, Gravy
Sweet Potato Cassarole
Baked Sweet Potatoes (my nephew prefers them)
Corn with butter sauce
Green Bean Cassarole
Cranberry Sauce
Deviled Eggs
Olives
Cheese Plate
Rolls
Stuffing
Pumpkin Pie
Apple Pie
Pecan Pie
Whew!!!

You know you had asked about sweets, non traditional ones for Thanksgiving?

I usually bake a homemade chocolate pie. My husband and I love them! But this year with my family coming over, I sent out texts with menu items that everyone would prefer. And my chocolate pie didn't get any votes, so I'll make the other stuff instead

We have done many variations. Smoked Turkey, Traditional Turkey, Deep Fried Turkey, and Ham.

This year will be very different as we are now in Texas. Will miss our thanksgiving with Sweet Sexy Mama and her family
