Somehow the meaning of this holiday has gotten lost over the years --- it's now about buying mattresses at a discount, but I'll take any 3-day weekend

If only I worked a government or bank job that recognized it as an actual holiday! The only ones in my household that reaps the benefits of the day are my kids!
