Hi beg4ignore, nice to meet you too.

My retro TV fascination dates back to probably the 50s, old British comedies like Tony Hancock, 60s stuff like Morecambe & Wise, The Avengers, Doctor Who and many more. 70's stuff includes Alias Smith & Jones, Starsky & Hutch, Quincy, Rockford,Kojak and a lot of the old Glen Larson shows too. But once we get to the end of the 80s, my interest wanes somewhat.
As for 30s and 40s cinema, I adore The Marx Bros and Laurel & Hardy, and the original Scarface is one of my favourites too.

If you want to read some of my stuff, I can PM you my website address.

Gman, got the link, thank you! Started reading your site, will check it out some more for sure!

Thanks also for sharing what you are into in terms of retro TV and films. I'm also totally intro retro TV now, watching a lot of 50's and 60's (mostly) TV shows from American TV, mostly. I also love the Marx Bros and Laurel and Hardy! I have all the Marx Bros on DVD, and really enjoy them; would like to get more of LH, have some but not most of their stuff. They have a new set out which I should get eventually. I also love the old gangster movies, and enjoy that SCARFACE film, I assume you are talking about the one with Paul Muni in the lead?

Yes, the Paul Muni one, I love that film. It's brilliant. Although the 1983 version is close to perfection.
I only have a couple of L&H movies, Way Out West and Sons of the Desert, but my dad had a box set with about 60 of their movies and short features, and I intend to borrow that at some point.

Gman, I'm a little bit fortunate as I have an open air channel that airs Laurel and Hardy films and shorts every Sunday morning. They just started doing it a few months ago and it's great! They are cut and with ad breaks, but still great to see.

I love the early gangster films, such as SCARFACE. I pretty much love everything Edward G Robinson, Jimmy Cagney and Humphrey Bogart were in from the early 30s to the early 40s'.

I'd like to see some Cagney and Bogart movies, I've just never gotten round to them yet. Although for me, nothing will ever beat a good Bond film. And by "good", I mean one that doesn't star Roger Moore.

I'm from Oregon but soon moving to North Dakota. I am a naughty house wife and Southern Charm. I love to draw pin up and manga art in my free time. I watch movies, sitcoms, and anime. I collect manga and playboy magazines. I am probably the most perverted person I know, even more than my husband. I am very shy and don't say much. I am submissive in almost every way. I love being tied up and spanked and told what to do. But I also love romance and fairy tale endings. I love animals but don't have any right now. I listen to all sorts of music from the old 20's to country and rap. But my favorite is Korean pop music. I'm 26 and don't have a drivers license. I love to walk every where I go. I love the outdoors, camping and hiking. I'm really into gothic and lolita gothic. My favorite movie is "Death Becomes Her" followed by every single Tim Burton film. I get insomnia and tend to shoot my updates at night. That is all, lol.
Kisses!

Where to begin, lol. I'm 39, 40 in November. I'm in school going for my Associates Degree in Nursing (R.N.). Been married for 22 wonderful years in October with 3 kids (1 boy, 2 girls). Reside in Delaware. Seems like I'm the only charm in the state from what I can gather which sucks but...lol. I just left my vanilla job in April 2012 due to my busy school schedule but the owner told me when I was ready to return to let him know (it's a skill oriented position so can't hire off the street - Certified Taekwondo Instructor). Only been a charm since mid February, loving it. Love animals, I have a pug, rottweiller, cat, and young rainbow boa. Love music, can listen to many genres but the radio is usually on country. Love doing crafts - making jewwelry, soy container candles, scented bath salts, sugar scrubs, etc... Love to hunt and camp but don't get the chance often. Ilove reading fantasy and horror sci-fi. Like comedys, fantasy, horror, reality, cop shows/movies.

I'm so glad you got this started! Lets see... I'm 24, a stay at home mom to a 4 year old, I love Bones, CSI, Law & Order: SVU, House, and a lot other crime, medical shows. I've been out of school for about a year (got my cosmetology license). I've been on SC lil over 6 months and love it! I'm a big animal person (2 rat terriers, 1 black lab puppy, 1 hairy dog, 1 water dog and 3 cats). I'm a bit of a "nerd groupie" as hubby calls it. I love Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galtica (and the one set before it). I've been married for 2 years (in October) and been with the hubby for 5 (in August).
