Charms are allowed to use content from their old sites when they come back. They just can't use it as "NEW" updates. But they can post it as BONUS updates. They can post as many bonus updates as they want. :-)

Tell that to Atiyana, who is posting only stuff from her old times. I Will not pay twice for the same old stuff.

I not talking about adding old content and passing as new I could name at least 3 three charms who seem to have gotten into that habit and 2 of which are still active. I talking about when a charm leaves and comes back if she left with say 100 updates she start over at one. Why not let them put those update back and start were they left off. Designate it as old content and be done. This way it's apparent these were done in the past, and it's hard sneak out content in as new. I know the argument of it give the old charm an advantage over a new old because of the amount of content, but I know for me I would not join a charms site until she hits a least twenty updates certainly not new one with 3. We have all seem a bunch of folk over the years do 3 or 5 or 8 updates then stop updating then disappear. My Example of this is a charm now longer around Absolute Heaven I read she left for health reasons the first time around, when she left she had around 600 updates. She came back around 18 months later and started at 1. All that content from the old site is gone for good. I was a member of her old site had the content on a hard drive that died.

n2kstuff5,
When a charm comes back she CAN use her old content as Bonus updates. So if there's a charm that has left and come back that you're a member of, ask her to post her old content as bonus updates :-)

SC just doesn't allow the old content to be posted and advertised as new content. But it can be reused and put back on her site as a bonus issue for members only :-)

Inactive is just what it says. Inactive. Why should a charm that has not updated
her site in months to even years, be treated the same way as charms that
updates every week. I am sure with the 600 plus charms that are active there are
many you will adore just as much or even more if there given a chance. Remember
most charms that update regularly will reply to emails and interact with fans and members.
Like me. I am here over 11 years and I still update 2 and 3 sets a week. Give us
current updating charms some attention, we deserve it.

I am not saying post that content as new. What I am saying is put the site back as it was when the person left, but make the content a previously posted in an older version site. Then going forward new content would be posted. I'm looking at this as a consumer who spends his dollars. From a charm perspective this is not fair as far as competition for subscribers, it be good for the fans.

I am REALLY happy about this site change! Though, I'd be happier if the rule "if you don't update at least twice a month your site will be removed" was actually used. But this is better than nothing. <3

Thank You, When I saw some guys complaining about charms retiring, leaving and that
were moved to inactive. With over 600 hotties adding new content each week,
I know there are tons that will tickle your fancy. Just take a look, you know the saying
when you least expect it, It Happens. Naughty grin... Hugs

I saw this happen only once. Cici Ryder, which BTW was one of my favorites, got her page removed, then when she came back, all the previous content were put back online like she never left the site.. I Hope she comes back one day.

They were not updating their sites which was not fair to the other Charms who do update regularly as well as to the fans who keep checking for new updates. Therefore, we moved them to a new page labeled as "Inactive." The link is on the main page to the right of the regular sites. All Charms on the Inactive Page can be moved back to their regular page just by sending in a new update. If any of you have a favorite amongst the Inactive Charms, please drop them a note and encourage them to update to be moved back among the active Charms.

after reading this i understand exactly what happened, but if you remove them from sc1,2,3 ect.. and creat a new page "inactive" thats going to catch the customers eyes. So more customers are going to be drawn to it wondering .. "hmm.. whats this new page".. it just seems to me they are being "featured" for not updateing they're page.. The original rule seemed to make much more sense to me.. you update 2 times every 30 days or your sites removed.. It gives us charms/gents that actually do update multiple times a month a better chance of gaining cliental. Yes I know this sounds mean of me, and I hate to see any charm/gent go, but this is business, we are all here to make money. This is a job, and like any job if you dont do whats required your fired and a better canidate is hired.. Im just sayin...

I think of it as actually more like a store than a job (speaking as a customer). I'm happy that they did this. That way, if someone decides they want to join Violet's site (for example) for a month, it's worth it, thanks to the sheer volume, value and great quality of the archived issues. There are many "inactives" with similar situations.

I'd love to see some long retired Charms' sets made available, provided that they'd agree to it.

It always sucks when favorites just disappear.

BTW, Ariah, you are definitely one of my favorites.

Don't forget that many charms ask for there sites to be removed for personal reasons
and no longer want there photos or there vids to appear at all.

I suppose it is a store to fans/customers :d :d :d
But as for the retired charms? They retired because they most likely did not want their content displayed on the web any longer. So I rather doubt they'd agree to having any of their sets made available.

I as a fan like that the inactive charms was moved to there own page, I have also noticed that maybe this has been a wake up call for some of them as they have started updating again, most of the ones though on the inactive page don't even have working e mail addresses anymore, they have moved on and as fans we need to move on as well. I would much rather spend my time and money with the ones that do update, reply to e mail, and spend time with us fans on this board, these charms understand custermer relations.

Hook,
Just my two cents? Personally, I enjoy spending time on this board with you guys, and I'm not doing it for customer relations......I REALLY enjoy goofing off with you guys here. And for the charms that don't frequent our forum? They don't know how much fun they're missing out on! :-)

Chiming in here that I think the inactive section is a great idea, sort of a "get 'em before they're gone" thing.

Hook,
You didn't use the wrong words, I totally get what you're saying. It IS good customer relations to interact with fans.......but just saying that's not why I do it ;) Although, yes, I hope I do benefit from the "advertising" part of it :d

I think after all the years I am a charm, many of you know I interact with fans
and members and have for the past 11 and a half years. It is fun and getting
to know people better, is something I enjoy. I am on Mini chat, Chat room and also
yahoo and msn. I am a chatter from way back and still love it.
