IMustbmilf,
I think that can be a matter of opinion. I don't make it a point to contact most of my members first, but I will and do reply to their emails to me. Instantly? No, but within a day or two.
I try and treat my members special. I ask them if I can send them pics via email, usually advance update pics, or pics that I'm not posting <bloopers, etc> I even have asked some of my members for their opinions on pics I want to post. I've made birthday wishes videos for some, I've even given out my telephone number to one member as we've become fantastic friends over the years. I don't do it for the $$, but rather I do it because I want to do it. They've complimented me tremendously by joining my site and I want to do something special for them. I don't do this for all members as they don't all correspond with me, but I do it for some that I build a friendship with.

I do it because I want to, not because it's part of their membership package.

Example: Taken from my email box and coincidentally, this actual member of mine sent me an email saying close to this same thing, that he no longer hears from me since he joined.

First contact with a fan: April 26 - My response May 4 (I check my fan email a few times a week, not usually daily)
His email to me: And My response Dates:
5-5 & 5-9
5-11 & 5-11
5-24 & 5-25
5-24 & 5-25
5-26 & 5-26
5-26 & 5-26

He joined on 5-26

5-26 & 5-26
5-26 & 5-26
5-26 & 5-26
5-26 & 5-26
5-26 & 5-26
5-26 & 5-26
5-27 & 5-27
5-28 & 5-28
5-28 & 5-28
5-28 & 5-28

I had no internet from 10 am 6-3 until 7:30 pm 6-4

6-3 & 6-4 Asked him to start using my "member" email address
6-4 & 6-4
6-4 & 6-4
6-4 & 6-5

So my point is that what a guy expects when he joins, isn't necessarily what will happen. Personally, for this fan that joined, I feel I've always responded to his emails, even when he wasn't a member, so I'm totally baffled why he would send me an email saying since he joined he no longer hears from me :-\

My advise to you, if you feel a charm isn't emailing with you when she once was, I would write and ask her what's happened? Maybe she's not responding to any email for some reason at the moment. Just don't take it personal is all I'm trying to say, because it may also be that your definition and the charm's definition of "contact via email" are miles apart. She may think she's corresponding with you often, as I feel about the member that wrote me. Where as obviously he feels I'm not corresponding enough.......

But you've got 8 years on him :d :d :d :d :d :d

So far, I've enjoyed getting to know this new member of mine. And it does bother me to know that he think's "he's not hearing from me"
And I've enjoyed each of your emails, and enjoyed replying to them. Definitely looking forward to many many many more emails too...... ;)

Anyways, that's why I say I think this whole email thing is strictly a matter of opinion. :-)

If she's active on here maybe try to shoot her a PM here? Just don't over do it. I also have had fans that email me constantly and even if they really have the best intentions if I'm busy and I come back to 10+ emails from a guy it's a little annoying.
I mean, I don't mind chatting with someone or if they reply quickly or anything like that. I mean when I get a BUNCH of emails asking me to reply faster, where I'm at, or the same info over and over. I got it, I'm just busy dang it!

That goes back to one of my original concerns. Most girls use one of the common free email services - Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc. I use them too, and sometimes legitimate mails get sent to the spam filter. My concern is that maybe my mails are getting sent to her spam folder and she doesn't look there for my mails. So emailing her doesn't do any good because the mail telling her to check her spam folder will ALSO get sent to the spam folder...it's an endless loop.

We did kinda make a circle huh? lol

About the spam/junk filter. I maybe OCD ish but I actually LOOK in mine :d :d :d :d

Another thought, If these charms frequent the forum, why don't you use the "chat" thread thingy and post a request to have them join you in chat? I wish more guys would post there instead of just us charms having to post in it........maybe if you started a trend, the rest would follow suit? AND maybe the charms would see their name mentioned and contact you ;)

I do reply to all emails whether they are members or not but members get preference of course. I do not have a separate email address fore members because it is not guarantee that they are still a member - they could go on using the member email long after they cancelled membership.
I am sorry you are having problems - why don't you send the charm a private message on here?

True. But I figure if they've complimented me by joining my site in the past, I'll still recognize that they're special in my book and give their emails preferential treatment, whether they are current members or not :-)

I have yahoo and hotmail also a special members email. I pay for them. I do not
use the free email. Pay emial allows me to send or receive large files and also it seems to be much more
accurate then the free emails.
Amazing at it is, most members and fas will still email me at my reg. email address
on my Free side, rather then the email i put on members side. Its funny how I get
maybe one or two emails a year in my special members email account.
The other thing I answer all my emails, Members and Fans. Then using the Instant Mess.
programs, yahoo and msn windows live, AOL, the sc chat room and mini chat I get to chat real time one
on one so I do not have to reply to so many emails I reply on chat programs. It works well for me.
We all have our own way to connect with members and fans.

Lol exactly, I don't mind if someone has become a member in the past, I still give them preferential treatment, although I hope they join again :p

I'm sorry you are having this problem. I try to answer emails on a regular daily basis but there are times that life tends to get in the way and it may be a few days. I like to get to know my fans and members altho a few have gotten pretty persistent on wanting to know where I live exactly and gotten on the possessive side. I turn these over to my BF to handle, as I strive for my privacy and would appreciate that respect. My fans are as important as my members, as they may become members later on; I don't discriminate but draw the line when I feel too much info is being asked.

I answer as a many emails as often as possible. Some have gone to my spam folder but I found them and answered but got a rude reply even though I apologized for taking so long. It was less than week. There have been a few fans who send messages in the double digets a day. Using email like texts. Wanting to chat, turn it into sexting and get off that way. Then get offended when I inquire about membership or sending me gifts for services rendered. These specific people had a month or 2 memberships then cancelled but continued to message. They also BCC the same message to other Charms. So it is casting a wide net approach. I have stopped replying to these messages and they have slowed down. Many of the Charms are here to have fun, I assume, but others are here to make a living, put food on the table or pay rent. It is work and a business so sometimes focus has to be on specific tasks. There are also times when life just gets full of technical glitches, a hectic day job, illness and every other thing imaginable under the sun. All fans and members are important to the Charms and we do our best to keep them happy.

Awww I am sorry to hear that! Life does get in the way sometimes! I have heard a lot of charms have member only emails and only respond to members! I also know my email sends some messages to my spam folder! I have been so busy lately. I have been slacking on replying! I have been house shopping, setting up at flea markets, mowing yards on the side! So When I am home I am sleeping! I dont have internet on my cell phone! Maybe similar situations to them as well! Try messaging them here or sending a new email! Spam and lots of emails it may be over looked!

I am first to admit that I am horrible about answering email. I do get to them, but it can take a while, sometimes even up to a month. I keep myself extremely busy all the time, which is how I'm able to update my site 4 times a week plus videos a few times a month. I get a very high volume of emails and if I were to answer them daily, or even weekly, I simply would not be able to update my site with the consistency and frequency that I do.

Does it mean that I don't love you? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I love to get emails and sometimes they really do make my day, and when I can I reply back to each of them, which I hope makes your day, too!

Kisses,
Lace

P.S. On a personal note, my life has been extra crazy this year so if it seems like I have been MIA the last 5-6 months its because I totally have been... IF the dust ever settles around me and my head stops spinning, I promise you'll be seeing a lot more of me around here AND in your inbox if you've emailed me. I really do MISS all of you guys and all my charm sisters!!! ~IL

I have been here several years and reply to every email I get, except the ones that are vulgar. I can't believe some of the things some guys will say or send me. Most are very sweet and compliment me on things they like about my site. Others are asking if they can be my fuck buddies and sending me dick pics. LOL I even warn them on my site if they send something that I find isn't appropriate I wont answer.

Now and then I find one in my spam folder. I do look before deleting them. I am getting so much spam now it's crazy. They send 10 of the same thing in a day. Some of the subjects make you open them because I would hate to not see a fan email and not reply to it. I'm sure a few get lost in there with no replies.

Then some guys email me at least once or twice a week and tell me what they think of my new updates or lack of update when I skip a week. It is easier to chat a few minutes than reply to emails for me. :d

As far as emails goes I do try to answer my mail as well but sometimes not as lengthy as my fan would like ... They must remember we get tons of emails every single day and sometimes it get lost, I even tried putting a code on each update in the members section for when they write I would know they are current member but some of them was confused by this so I stopped! Another thing is fans sends us several emails after you rely to the 1st one, so it's hard to get caught up!
Yes, current members do get 1st priority over a nonmember if they state they are a member in subject title.
I for one have been very busy the past few months with personal stuff that assumes you, but I do try to answer my mail and post every week for my members will not feel cheated. I just want to say if you are a fan I totally appreciate all of my fans who pays for memberships.

A lot of good points here. Myself, I've been a member of many charms, shot as a guest with a few, and chatted and e-mailed with many. I never counted on a response, but I would say a good, at least, 75% have responded and many quite a few times and have made many great friends and photo shoot companions as well. Personally, I do like to make e-mail contact with and have some conversation before joining for the main point of knowing they are still active and updating. I had a few new-bees I joined over time that did the first three updates and looked great and then never did any more...but that is the rare exception. I also joined one that never updated and I was just in huge admiration of her body, but she had already done 400+ updates, so there is no complaint when they have the beautiful pictures there. All in all, it is a great bonus to get responses from these beautiful ladies and the greatest response to meet some and shoot with them.

i absolutely agree with you...i got the same troubles, and im not offensive or requesting some of special or unappropriate...My idea is that many charms are only some mail box with a collection of pics perhaps video...I think the contact with the fans opinion is mutually important...and id suggest to mention all the charms who avoid contacts with the fans,by name or nickname...
