Don't worry about that so much hun. You're super hot! I noticed a trend in how they picked them MANY years ago. And I definitely do NOT update that often!

I look every day that I update and cross my fingers because the staff pick page is great advertising. We also try really hard to have great updates every time. I know I've been picked at least once which statistically, considering I've only been a charm 4 months, is probably about right. However, let's be honest here, there are a few ladies very close to the SC operation that appear on a fairly regular basis. They have great photos, but so do a lot of us. In other words the staff has their favorites and they don't try to hide it.

What's really strange is I've seen a few ladies honored as a staff pick that had terrible updates that day. We're not talking the quality of the model, that is in the eye of the beholder, I'm talking about dark, blurry, sad looking photos. You know, they're the "let's stand against the wall and shoot a few" type updates. So if I had to guess, more than half the slots in the staff picks are handed out on an almost arbitrary basis to make sure that everyone gets a shot.

You have a much better chance of being picked for a staff pick if you time your update for a Monday or a Wednesday. Those seem to be the days that don't have as many new updates.

and i want you to know

its a great boon to be a staff pick
but i have been chosen and it really doesnt help sales

in my humble opinion
in fact once i had zero sales on that day

a lot of my members tell me they never look at staff picks
for what ever reason
i dont want to rustle any feathers.. as i too always wanted to be a chosen one
and it took me 2 yrs ,one day i did an update that i almost tossed
jeans and a t shirt..well that was the first time i was chosen!

i will say i noticed that the more 'centered' you are in the photo
the better are you chances
but hey
no one knows

and i wish you all luck.. i stopped worrying about it.. everyone gets a chance i notice
