Just wanted to say Hi to all of you & ask your opinion on something...
What's your opinion on "self pics"...when a Charm takes her own photos...is it a turn on or a turn off?

That depends:

Self pics that are taken in front of the mirror aren't so good.

Setting the cameras timer on then posing in front are ok if they are in focus. This takes a lot of test pictures to get the focus and framing right.

Finally, just as long as I don't see your arms in the picture, then knock yourself out.

Believe me, I've taken alot of test shots over the years as the majority of pics on my site are taken by me, so sometimes getting the right focus is a lil difficult & also depends exactly what I'm trying to focus on.
What did you mean by "just as long as your arms aren't in the picture"?
Are you saying you don't want to see the remote?

When I see a remote my first thought is - I wish I could be her photographer. (I once was a freelance photographer) My comment about the arms is that the lens is set at a wide angle and when you see the arms extended in the picture it immediately tells you its a self portrait. In the end I love the form and feel of a women's body, so just as long as the photo is focus I love it.

I personally am against them UNLESS it's part of a theme. (And by them I strictly mean the ones with the arm in the picture, not good tripod ones. ) The only update I have with the arm picture portraits (update 110) was a "drunk girl's night in" themed shoot where we were all getting "tipsy and topless." Even though I think this is a fun and sexy photo set I have had no interest in doing more.

But I'd also like to say I had a fan email me who wanted bad cell-phone pictures in the mirror as if I had been texting them to him which I was happy to do.

Funny you say that about every time you see a remote...I'm usually wishing my photographer was around to shoot the set for me lol.
But we are on different schedules, which is why I shoot most sets by myself. The only time my arms are in the way, or visible like that & the way the girl holding the camera in Rosie's pic was, is when I hold the camera. Very rarely do I do that tho, cuz I use a tripod.

I miss Plain Jane. .

As far as self-pics, as long as their is a natural progression from beginning to end & not a lot of repetition in the shots, they are fine with me.

I do have some older extended arms shots. I started with a camera with no remote option so I made do with what I had. I have seen a lot of self taken arms in the shots and I think they are sexy! Shows your real! We all have taked self photos and maybe some fans find them hot! I use a tripod and remote now! I rarely have a photographer

Hahaha. It might not be as sexy as you imagine. It's a lot of video games, food, and beer. Though WE find that sexy fun. <3<3<3<3

I think those of you that do your own photos are awesome! I've done a few videos from a tripod; but that was just a lot of cut and edit. I can't imagine photos! Heck, hubby and I have a hard enough time keeping me all the way in the photos at times because I move at just the wrong time I may have to do one where I am holding the camera with one arm and maybe throw some taken in a mirror. Will have to ask some fans/members what they would think.

Thanks for the compliment!!
I've done alot of video with it on the tripod & since I do it so much, I think I'm more aware of the angles & such so I don't have to do alot of editing. I mostly cut the beginning & end, but sometimes will have to cut something if I make a funny face or the frickin phone rings or some bs like that...
As they say, the more ya do something, the better ya get at it
So if ya do some on your own, have fun with it
