I'm going to chime in with my $.005!!! Its my opinion that a porn star is someone that is given a script or an outline by a professional organization (company) and asked to perform the sexual task/activities as outlined in the script. There is a set owner or the organization who hires individuals to perform the actions of the script.

An Amateur, is someone that does what they do, for fun and if they can make some money in the process, GREAT!!! They are men and women who enjoy doing something that is not associated or affiliated with a major company who has outlined or documented what they want the performers (professionals) to do. I think that each and every one of the ladies on SC would be considered amateurs if this is the only site they have or the only sexual business they do. This is more of a hobby that you can make money off of in lieu of it being a business that provides your main income stream.

I would also say that if what you are doing is more of a chore or task and not something fun and enjoyable for you, it may be more professional than amateur. Also, I think intent and how the finished product will be produced, marketed, advertised and sold determines if it amateur or porn star. Individuals or couples creating and distributing their materials puts one in the amateur status where if its massed produced and widely distributed, that's more porn. Just my $.005 contribution. Hopefully I haven't offended anyone!!! I will say that I consider all the ladies on SC as Amateurs, and lovely Amateurs at that!!!

I'm definitely an amateur, but I strive to get good results. Sometimes I wonder if our photos are getting too good and then we'll botch a set and then I don't worry about it for a while If you watch any of my videos or the clips that I upload with updates, you can tell I'm totally an amateur.
