best small towns in the US to retire

hey my friends,

I have about 2 years or less (depending on the hurricanes) here in Florida, what are some of the
best small towns to live cheap, quiet and to retire in the US?

do you live somewhere like this? and if so where? I want out of the hurricanes for sure

Depends on what you are.poking for, more, but there are some good towns in SC, near the mountains!

A few hours from the beach, few minutes to hours from the mountains and lots of fun things to do!
