I was just wondering what makes a good fan and a great fan. I have been watching the discussions on this board for some time now and was wondering what would be the difference between a good fan or member and a great one. I see that gman blymike and markjeans must be great fans. they seem to be the only ones that I see on here constantly. there is some others but not that many. what does a great fan do differently from a good fan. do they send gifts. email more often. was just wondering. I have seen from some of the discussion what a bad fan is all about but was wondering what the difference between a great one and a good one was

It has nothing to do being member or not. It is the way of talking and understanding each other.
There are only one sort of bad fans....stealing and posting around.

After all, they're all lovely people who take time out of their lives to chat with us. This community on here is like a family, I like to think I have made a large number of friends on here, people that I can talk to on many subjects, not just about porn but about life in general. We don't bite, so join in and become a member of the family.

If I may offer my two cents... Respect and courtesy go a long way in my opinion. My take on this subject is that I don't try to be some kind of "super fan". I spend so much time on here because I really enjoy this board. The fact of the matter is that we as fans are lucky to have such a great group of "super charms" that take the time to socialize with the fans. Which brings me to part two of the subject. I've spent alot of time on other boards and the way that guys treat and talk to web models is f**king appalling. Demanding photos, e-mailing pics of their cranks and just being downright rude. Nobody wants to be treated like that, no matter what the circumstances are.

So my advice...if you want to be a great fan, just be yourself, have fun and be respectful. This board is different than most. All of the members here are genuine whether they're a fan, a charm or a gent. Being a great fan has nothing to do with the quantity of your posts, its more about the quality of them.

I agree with a lot of what is being said here. A great fan is someone who contributes well and is respectful and friendly. A lot of the people you mentioned have just been around a lot and post a lot, so they get our attention more. (Not that I want you to flood us! It just takes the time and effort for us to get to know you. <3) And remember, if one Charm ends up not liking you that doesn't mean we all do. I've seen a lot of fans chased off just because they got in a fight with one Charm.
What personally makes a great fan for ME is the friendship while they still have the respect enough to buy something here or there. I adore the friends I've made through my fans but I am NOT going to lie, this is my job and eventually I don't want to talk to someone anymore if they are just getting a free ride out of me. (I'm not talking fanboard here, I'm talking all day emails though!) Gifts are a total plus! Everyone loves gifts. <3 But it's not necessary to buy a girl something to make them your friend.
But if you are thinking of gifting a Charm I know a lot of us give pix/videos in return.

In my humble opinion, i offer nothing but respect to all of the charms and other members here, i treat people the way i would like to be treated, here we are all equals, but the forum is much about the charms as it is about the members and even the moderators, i mean, what does 5 minutes out of the entire day take, to say hello to a certain charm or to wish everyone a good day? it's no skin off my nose and i appreciate everyone who finds time to post or to simply say hello be kind and courteous to others and you get it in return

I personally don't see us as fans and charms, but more of a group of people that have come together from all over the world that just like to hang out together. Just look around the forum, read the topics, comment on them if you want and just have fun with it. There is so much to do here, so much to see in new updates, so many great people to meet and git to know. This forum has so many great people on it, and for me I have made some really great friendships on it over the last year and a half. Once you git used to the laid back style of this forum you will not ever want to go back to any of the other ones that are out there. This one is the best one out there because it has the best people on it, this is the A-Team of forums because of the people on it.

thanks for the great answers, some really good ones to. Sultry Serena, Gman and Blycmike had the best ones. some advice to hook though, you need to read Blycmikes post and take it to heart though, he was right, you are all quantity and no quality to your post, your answer was more rambling than anything else, everybody else, great answers and I will take your advice

I don't see a difference in a good fan and a great fan personally. I enjoy all of my fans who interact with me. I had a hard go at it a couple years ago and stopped answering emails for awhile and that was my fault. I am rebuilding myself on the board and through email. I enjoy talking with my fans a lot. I like to learn what kinds of things you enjoy outside of porn as well as what you like to see on my site. Respect and interaction go a long way with me.

I Just Want To Say To ISU, I Am Not Offended In Any Way, I Am Hear To Have Fun And Meet People, It's Time We All Put This Behind Us And Git Back To Having Fun.
